Trust should not have to be taken for granted.

Donating — without knowing what happens.

Donating should be simple: you give money for something good — and it arrives where it is needed.

Or does it?

Exactly this trust is often missing today. Do you know how much actually arrives? What happens with your money? And whether your donation ultimately achieves the impact you hoped for?

Too little transparency. High fees. Far too much administration. In the end, genuine traceability is missing.

This is exactly where our work begins.

Trust that can be verified.

We envision a donation ecosystem in which trust is not just promised — but verifiable by each individual. A world in which giving is as transparent as a bank transfer: traceable, documentable, purpose-bound.

Not in an annual report. But immediately.

How we contribute.

We are building ChaCha as a modern donation platform with a clear goal: transparency through the Proof of Donation and trust through the Proof of Impact mechanism.

We make donation flows traceable, automate processes, and design fee structures so that 100% of your donation reaches the project.

For this to be sustainable, we combine a philanthropic and a commercial pillar: supporters and grant programmes cover platform costs — companies finance their own added value through premium features. Both pillars are transparent.

This makes us the data infrastructure for donation impact — for companies, NGOs, auditors, and donors alike.

How we do it: How it works

Our principles.

100% donation promise

Every euro reaches the project. Platform costs are covered by the Supporter Pool.

Proof over promotion

We show what we promise — with donation receipt and proof of impact. What we cannot prove, we do not say.

Invisible technology

You use ChaCha like any other website. Complex technology runs in the background — you donate in EUR, no technical knowledge needed.

Taking trust seriously

Exemption certificate, GDPR, privacy, plain language — we build for a market that expects substance over hype.

Open to partners

Our APIs and SDKs are open to partners and developers. Anyone who wants to rebuild, audit, or extend should be able to.

Three forces coming together.

CSRD obligates companies

Since the reporting year 2024, companies must report on sustainability in an audit-ready manner — the circle of obligated companies widens every year. Donations with verified impact become a mandatory data source.

Donors expect transparency

A younger, digitally-savvy generation only gives where they can understand what happens. Conventional donation channels no longer meet their expectations.

The technology is ready

What was still research a few years ago now runs robustly and swiftly in the background — without anyone noticing.

What guides us.

  • Pilot partners running their first transparent campaigns through ChaCha
  • Proofs of impact that hold up to CSRD reporting requirements
  • Donors who recommend ChaCha — because they know what happened

Maximilian Dörr

Founder

Hi, I am Maximilian. I am building ChaCha because I consider donating one of the most important acts we know as a society — and because I believe it has been treated poorly for too long. Trust should not have to be taken for granted. That is exactly why we prove what we promise. We are building this step by step — openly, transparently, with everyone who wants to come along. If you want to see how ChaCha is being built: follow the project. We are easy to reach. — Maximilian Dörr, Founder
