Become a Supporter — cover the costs that would otherwise come out of every donation.
Your contribution fills the Supporter Pool. The pool is meant to cover costs that would otherwise come out of donations, so that projects receive the full donation amount.

Why the Supporter Pool exists
Every donation causes costs, such as payment and network costs. The Supporter Pool is meant to cover them. You can see in public how much it covers.
The Problem
Without compensation, these costs would come out of the donation amount.
The Solution
Supporters fill the pool with their contributions.
Support
Strengthening charitable giving through transparency
Your support helps cover the costs of a donation.
Why your support matters
Your contribution fills the pool that pays for payment and network costs.
Make donations verifiable
Your contribution helps cover the costs of securing donations on the blockchain and making them verifiable.
Your ideas are welcome
Send us ideas and feedback by e-mail. Surveys are planned. This does not come with voting or co-determination rights.
How the Supporter Pool works
When someone donates €100, the organisation should receive €100. The costs involved are covered by the pool that Supporters fill with their contributions.

Three ways to take part
Here is how you can take part as a Supporter.

Join the Supporter Pool
Help cover the costs of donations so that more reaches the projects.

Your Supporter dashboard shows for how many donations your contribution covered the costs and how the pool is developing.

Frequently asked questions
Answers to common questions about the Supporter Pool.
Why do we need the pool?
Every donation causes costs, such as payment and network costs. The pool is meant to cover costs that would otherwise come out of donations. By filling it, you help ensure the full amount reaches the cause.
Where can I see the network costs?
You can see the network costs in the public pool register as a daily total. They are booked together once a day.
Can I support anonymously?
Yes. Without your consent, we show neither your name nor your level or amount in public. The Supporter Wall is still being planned; you would only appear there with your consent.
What happens if the pool runs empty?
If the pool is empty, donors can reserve their donation (no charge, up to 30 days) or pay a uniform cost share. You can see the pool balance publicly.
Do I get a say in decisions as a Supporter?
No. Your Supporter contribution does not grant voting, membership, or co-determination rights. Today you can send us ideas and feedback by e-mail, and from the Patron tier you have a fixed point of contact. Planned, among other things: surveys, early access to new features, a community and exchange meetings. Planned means: not available yet; there is no entitlement to it.
